Dear Wayne & Christine, Sorry we forgot to do feedback on the iPad on leaving. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in King Louie on the weekend. We were just wowed with how beautiful the cabin was and loved the option of the indoor or outdoor spa. We were lucky enough To experience different weather and it was great to see and hear the rain so that we could experience the creeks running and the Sounds of the birdlife revelling in the conditions. The weather was cool enough to experience the fireplace which was nice. The artwork in King Louie was really impressive, so much so we tried to find the artists name on the internet but to no avail. Everything we needed was in the cabin and the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept on. We have been lucky enough to spend time at some lovely accommodation and the mouses house is definitely one of our favourites' and Look forward to returning soon & possibly experience one of the other cabins which looked great on our walk around the grounds. I had to say a big thank you for some advice from reception on how to remove a tick I picked up on Saturday. We found Springbrook and The national parks even more beautiful than the Daintree we visited last year. We really can't find any negatives, only positives and look forward to staying with you again soon. Kind regards

We loved our stay it is such a beautiful environment. From the moment we arrived front desk was very polite and informative. The chalet was very well presented on arrival and we immediately noticed the cleanliness of the chalet and all of the appliances. We have had an awesome stay and we will not only be back ourselves but also recommending to all our friends and family to come and enjoy this wonderful establishment. We had a wonderful 4 night stay in Sleeping Beauty, which suited us perfectly. During this time we were able to do all of the walks in the area, including the 16km Warrie Circuit on one day. After our walks, the wonderful spa on the jetty was so welcome and relaxing! The breakfast hamper provided was plentiful and delicious. Everything in the kitchen was well maintained, clean and easy to use and the outdoor BBQ was clean and worked very well for our evening meals. We would love to come back and stay in another chalet - although Sleeping Beauty was so comfortable, peaceful and relaxing we may return to her! Thank you.

My partner and I stayed in Dopey in early Aug 2017 and we were absolutely blown away upon arrival. The drive up among the stunning scenery was so beautiful and a great way to build the anticipation of the rain forest retreat! We dealt with the owner, Wayne when checking in and he did a brilliant job of explaining everything to us and made us feel very welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed the wooden walkway through the retreat and stopped multiple times to view the streams and soak in the scenery before making our way up to Dopey. What an adorable little cabin Dopey is! We kept the glass door open (fly wire closed) to let in the crisp and fresh air, had the fire going, cuddled up on the couch while enjoying the birds singing and the wildlife walking around (a shrub turkey we named Kev). It was so unbelievably cozy that we were very sad to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay here and would love to return in the future. Thank you Wayne for a wonderful experience!

My husband Gareth and I had a blissful two nights and wished for longer. Snow White is a gorgeous chalet with stunning surrounds. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to reconnect, away from the hectic reality of our daily lives. Thank you - we will be back!!

Our chalet, The Wicked Witch, was a good choice - so cosy, the stream so close and of course, the hot tub. Only downside the open toilet. Had not stayed at The Mouses House before but discovered the place about 35 years ago - although has grown since then. Told friends who have visited over the years but never made it ourselves. I think it is well-priced these days. Have seen ads in RACQ magazine. I would rate the whole experience a 5 and the information supplied was excellent - emails, pre-arrival, mini iPad, movies. This is out of your hands, but shame there is not a restaurant on the mountain where you could have a nice meal at night. We will be back - sooner, rather than later. Kind regards and thanks

So peaceful and the visits from the possums (mum & baby) and bush turkeys was a real treat. I just love staying at Cinderella and wish I could stay more. The peaceful surroundings let me recharge my energy, and have a peaceful time away from demands of daily life. I also love the active wildlife and feed many possums while we are there. Mother possum this year had a baby, but I did not get to take a photo while his head and leg were out of the pouch. Wayne is so easy to talk to and is helpful with anything we may need.

This place is just heaven. It is perfect for those who want to get away from the noise and craziness that seems to fill our lives. My husband and I have never felt so relaxed and we have thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Staff and facilities of each chalet is amazing, so cosy and warm sitting cuddled up on the couch next to the fire. This definitely wont be our last visit!

Returning guests feedback :

The use of the iPad is a wonderful idea - makes it so much easier to look things up without having to go and ask. Wayne was (and is always) extremely helpful and courteous and nothing appears to be too much trouble. If he says he will do something it is done. Every time we come our room takes our breath away - it is clean, tidy and every little thing is thought of. Also there are subtle changes on each visit whether it be a new vase on the table or a new clock. For us this means they are constantly looking and updating the room. We definitely recommend to all and sundry. From Brendan and I, thank you again for the most wonderful stay we experience each and every time.

Great service. When we arrived Wayne gave us a detailed understanding of how to use the chalet and what attractions and restaurants were around. The chalet itself was generously sized with a extra room at the top in the attic area. The design of the chalet is pretty awesome with a roomy kitchen, lounge area, bathroom, fireplace and extra room with a spa bath.

Great relaxing way to spend our three year anniversary. We could not have asked for a better location, beautiful chalet nestled into the amazing rainforest with the flowing stream providing constant natural music. The weather was cold and wet, so it was perfect to get the fireplace going and snuggle in near its warmth. Cooking out on the private veranda let us meet one of the locals a Mountain Brushtail Possum

We had an excellent weekend stay! The cabin was absolutely beautiful and so well prepared for our arrival (it was clean, had lots of firewood, etc.). There were eight adults staying in our cabin (the Doc) and at no point did it feel like we were cramped for space. Wayne was extremely accommodating with respect to our arrival needs- coming up from different cities at different times after work Friday, he was really flexible and helpful with finding suitable places for us to park on site. We would definitely recommend Mouses House to others and will be back to stay ourselves in the future!

Thank you again for our stay. Sleeping Beauty was in immaculate condition and we liked the updated furniture (last stayed in 2011). The wifi was spotty but that was the only issue. We appreciated the fact that you even had wifi - most places don't, so we weren't bothered by that very much at all. I love that the hand written guest books are still in the chalet because I got to see our entry from 2011! Please never remove them :) The Mouses House, specifically Sleeping Beauty which we always choose, is the most magical place. Absolutely beautiful. The fireplace and outdoor hot tub are my favourites, and the indoor one too. We can't speak highly enough about the Mouses House, the service, the environment, the chalet, location and everything else.. Thank you again for making our getaway so memorable.

Hi Wayne and Christine. Thanks for the follow up email requesting feedback this morning. Myself and Wife Jen stayed in 'Snow White' on monday night. You must get slightly bored with - or at least desensitised to – all the gushing compliments about your place, but nonetheless here we go again! I reckon you could run the place in the manner of Fawlty Towers and Mouses House would still succeed, given its astonishing location and atmosphere. It's an absolute credit to yourselves and your team that your attention to detail, and gesture, is stellar. We can only imagine the work that goes in to maintaining the properties, both short and long term, and keeping the bar high. So massive kudos to all! And many thanks.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend this location! The retreat was the best place for our honeymoon. We'd always dreamed of going to a little cabin and that's what we got - but a very high quality one! All the chalets are named after the seven dwarfs and have a walkway through the rainforest with enough space between each to make it feel private. You're given your own kitchen and can order food baskets to cook up which was really enjoyable. We were also provided with a large range of movies - may have watched quite a few! It was great to be able to sit back and relax after such a busy wedding week and this was the perfect calming environment. There's some lovely lookouts, walks, waterfalls, cafes around and a town not too far off to get groceries and fuel etc. It was a beautiful cabin and location and we had the best time and didn't want to leave. We can't wait to go back one day.
